Quality Vascular Imaging was formed in 2000 and is owned and operated by Jean White and Bill Schroedter. With more than 40 years cumulative experience in the field, working in both hospital and physician office labs, it became increasingly difficult to practice our profession as we knew it should be. This was due mainly to monetary pressures from management. No longer did we have the time to obtain a full patient history, perform a proper physical exam, or complete a thorough examination, let alone provide any patient education, without the rush of more patient's waiting just outside the door. Together, we formulated a vision to create a working environment that allowed us and the rest of the QVI staff to practice to the limits of the Scope of Practice for the Diagnostic Ultrasound Professional.
